Mark Anderson MD

Dr. Anderson, the founder of Work Care, attended medical school at the University of Utah and residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Anderson has 22 years of ER experience. He is a certified Medical Review Officer and a certified Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA. Dr. Anderson holds the positions of President of Work Care, President of the National Drug Consortium, and M.R.O. for over 500 companies. He is Medical Director/Advisor of many companies, including: U.S. Postal Service, Micron Technologies, Pacificorp., Unisys, L3 Communications, and Tesoro.

Debbie Mattingly, MD, MPH

Dr. Mattingly attended medical school at the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Utah, where she also earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health. She is board certified in Occupational Medicine and has been with Work Care for 17 years. She is a certified Medical Review Officer and a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA. She is Medical Director/Advisor to several local companies including Becton Dickinson and Company and ICU Medical, Inc. She grew up in Minnesota, and has been residing in Utah for over 20 years.

Letitia Archuleta MD, MPH

Dr. Archuleta is a native of Salt Lake City and is a graduate of the University of Utah Medical School. She earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health and completed her Occupational Medicine Residency at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Utah. She is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine. She has a special interest in Aerospace Medicine and is a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA. She is also a certified Medical Review Officer.

Carla H. Olsen MD, MPH

Dr. Olsen is a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine and is Board Certified to practice Occupational Medicine. In addition, she is a Medical Review Officer and an Aviation Medical Examiner. She has a Masters of Science degree in Public Health and Industrial Hygiene and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist. She is especially interested in the treatment of occupational exposures and preventive health teaching. Her career in the industrial hygiene/occupational medicine field spans over 19 years.

Michael K. Hardy MD, MPH

Dr. Hardy was raised in Paradise, California. Upon completing medical school at the University of Utah, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Medical Officer for eight years. His service included a tour as the Flight Surgeon of VMA-214 (the “Blacksheep”), a Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier squadron in Yuma, Arizona. During his military service Dr. Hardy received residency training in Occupational Medicine at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Utah. After serving in the Navy, Dr. Hardy worked at several Occupational Medicine clinics in Colorado and California, ultimately joining the Work Care team in 2005.

Nadia Miniclier, PA-C

Nadia Miniclier graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program in 1997. She received a BA in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado, Denver and a MS in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She worked as a physician assistant full time for Work Care from 1999 to 2002, and was the Director of Client Services for Work Care from 2002 to 2005. She is currently the Director of First Year Clinical Affairs at the University of Utah Physician’s Assistant Program and works part time with Work Care. Nadia was born in Nairobi, Kenya and grew up in Denver, Colorado.

Gerald Fischer, PA-C

Gerald Fischer has been with Work Care since he graduated from the University of Utah Physician Assistant program in 2001. He received two Master’s Degrees from the University of Utah, a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies and a Master’s from the Exercise and Sport Science Department. He worked at the University of Utah as the Assistant Director of Sports Medicine for 12 years, where he evaluated and treated athletic related injuries. He was the Head Athletic Trainer at the College of Eastern Utah for three years before moving to the University of Utah. Gerald is a native of Berlin, Germany and has lived in Utah since he was a child.

Tyler Leonard, PA-C

Tyler Leonard attended the University of Utah Physician’s Assistant program and graduated with a Master’s Degree in 2005. Prior to PA school he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Western State College of Colorado. He went on to work as an EMT in a busy emergency department in Boulder, Colorado, where he developed his passion for medicine and made the decision to further his career and education with PA school. Tyler has been with Work Care since 2005. He is a native of Hygiene, Colorado, and has enjoyed living and playing in Utah.

Kirsten Callari, PA-C, MPAS

Kirsten Callari is a graduate of the University of Utah Physician Assistant program. Her interest in medicine began soon after earning her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Puget Sound. She received her Paramedic certification from Weber State in Ogden, Utah and worked as a Firefighter and Paramedic for the Sandy City Fire Department prior to earning her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2007. She has been with Work Care since her graduation in 2007. Kirsten is a native of Pennsylvania and has lived in Utah since 2001.

Michelle Bennett, FNP

Michelle Bennett is a Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from the University of Utah’s Master’s Program in 2005. She is a native of Salt Lake City, and has been practicing in the occupational medicine industry with Work Care since March, 2006. Prior to attaining her Master’s Degree, she received a Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Utah. She worked as an ICU nurse for four years in both the newborn ICU at Dixie Regional Medical Center and the adult medical surgical ICU at LDS Hospital.

Jennifer Heiner, PA-C

Jennifer is a native of Utah and a 2009 graduate of the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program. She previously worked at Work Care for three years as a Radiology Technologist. She also previously worked as a radiology technologist at Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah. She received her Radiology Technologist degree from SLCC along with a Bachelor of Science degree in therapeutic recreation from the University of Utah. She also completed the CT technologist certification at the University of Utah in 2005.
